WATER COLOR WETLANDS
Here is another card from class last month.
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 pool party cs--fold in half at 4 1/4"
4 x 5 1/4 chocolate chip cs. --- cut out 2 squares using the #3 square framelits from the center. As long as you cut it from the center no one will be able to tell. This will save you card stock & it saves on the weight of the card.
3 3/4 x 5 vary vanilla cs.-- stamp the goose & greeting with chocolate chip ink. The grass is stamped with crumb cake ink.
Put your layers together.
Have a small spritzer with water in it. Take a medium size clear block & ink half of it with the pool party ink. You always start with the lightest ink. Then ink the other half with the crumb cake ink. If you have the old ink pads you can rub the block on them. If you have the newer very juicy ink pads be careful not to push to hard. With the lighter inks it is hard to see it on the block.
Spritz the air & wave the inked block thru the mist. Then use it like a stamp & stamp it on Shimmery White card stock. You must use Shimmery white or water color card stock for this!
Now ink the baby geese with chocolate chip ink & stamp. You need 2. Now cut 2 of them out with the #2 square framelit. Mount it on the chocolate chip square & mount them on the card front You could pop them up with dimensionals if you wanted to.
This is one of those that every time you do it it will look different! Practice on some scrap paper if you want to.
You can see below 2 more cards I did. Notice that the water coloring looks different on each card.
I used Zoo Babies for this card.
Happy Stampin
