Grateful Bunch flower card
Here is another card we made in the last class. They are both about the same. I am going to give you the measurements for the card on the right.
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 pool party cs fold in half (4 1/4") Stamp the inside with your words.
5 1/4 x 4 bermuda bay cs--layer this on the front of the card.
4 1/2 x 3 3/4 white cs--Stamp the flower stem from the Grateful Bunch stamp set with Cucumber Crush ink.
Now we will cut the card stock.
1/2" is the first piece
1 3/4" 2nd piece
1" is the 3rd piece
3/4" is the 4th piece
1/2" is the piece that is left.
There is no real right or wrong for the sizes. I wanted to have a bigger piece where I would put the greeting.
Lay the pieces on the card & then start with the top & tape each piece down.
Stamp some flowers & punch them out with the Blossom Bunch Punch. I used glue dots for the flowers. Notice the card on the left has candy dots in the flower center. The card on the right has Dazzling Details in the flower center.
The greeting is from Petite Pairs. This set is on the retiring list. Be sure to get it before the end of May.
The Large Oval & Scallop Oval Punches were used. The cs is white & pool party. The ink is Bermuda bay.
The flower colors & butterfly-

WATER COLOR WETLANDS
Here is another card from class last month.
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 pool party cs--fold in half at 4 1/4"
4 x 5 1/4 chocolate chip cs. --- cut out 2 squares using the #3 square framelits from the center. As long as you cut it from the center no one will be able to tell. This will save you card stock & it saves on the weight of the card.
3 3/4 x 5 vary vanilla cs.-- stamp the goose & greeting with chocolate chip ink. The grass is stamped with crumb cake ink.
Put your layers together.
Have a small spritzer with water in it. Take a medium size clear block & ink half of it with the pool party ink. You always start with the lightest ink. Then ink the other half with the crumb cake ink. If you have the old ink pads you can rub the block on them. If you have the newer very juicy ink pads be careful not to push to hard. With the lighter inks it is hard to see it on the block.
Spritz the air & wave the inked block thru the mist. Then use it like a stamp & stamp it on Shimmery White card stock. You must use Shimmery white or water color card stock for this!
Now ink the baby geese with chocolate chip ink & stamp. You need 2. Now cut 2 of them out with the #2 square framelit. Mount it on the chocolate chip square & mount them on the card front You could pop them up with dimensionals if you wanted to.
This is one of those that every time you do it it will look different! Practice on some scrap paper if you want to.
You can see below 2 more cards I did. Notice that the water coloring looks different on each card.
I used Zoo Babies for this card.

THE OPEN SEA
I loved doing this card. It would be great for any occasion!
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 night of navy cs - fold in half
4 x 5 1/4 bermuda bay cs
3 3/4 x 5 soft sky cs - stamp with the compass using soft sky ink for a background.
In the center of the bermuda bay cs cut out a circle using the # 5 & 6 circles from the circle framelits.
On a scrap piece of night of navy cut out a circle using the #5 & 7 circle framelit.--glue the 2 framelits together. Punch out a background from the night of navy cs- I used the modern label punch which is retired.
On a piece of scrap white cs stamp the ship--cut it out using the #5 circle framelit. Night of Navy ink.
Stamp your greeting - I used the teeny tiny wishes stamp set & punched it out with the word window punch.
Stamp the anchor & cut it out by hand.
Layer the card stock & mount the circles on the card. I used liquid glue to attach the ship - This way you can have a little "wiggle room" in case you need it.
I used dimensionals to pop up the greeting & anchor.
Use white cs or copy paper cut to 4 x 5 1/4 on the inside & stamp whatever words you want.
This stamp set, punches & framelits are on the retiring list. Be sure to get them while you still can.
