St. Patrick's Day goodies!

There are 25 little treats.  Each one holds a little snack size candy bar!  These were a special order & I just thought I would share.

 Drapery Fold Card

Here are the directions for the last card that we made in class this month!

5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Daffodil Delight cs---score in the center at 4 1/4" & fold in half.

4 x 11 1/2" designer series paper (I used an old one that I had.)

score at 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, & 10"

With the 10" score line on your right measure down 1 1/2" & put a little mark.

Put this in your paper trimmer with the 3" score line at the top.  Cut from the 3" score line to the 1 1/2" mark that you made.  See the picture below for an example.

Fold on the score lines to make a "drapery look".  In the picture below the paper is laying down and you are looking down on it.  I think it is a little hard to tell in the picture.

Use a glue dot or a little tape at the top of the folds to hold them in place.  When you tape it to the card stock don't tape the bottom of the folds down.

Wrap with a matching ribbon & tie in a knot.  Stamp your greeting.

This card is another way to use up the DSP that you have.  I know I always seem to end up with extra of it.

Designer Series Paper Card

After I made this card I decided it was better to have the DSP (designer series paper) a little smaller.  The measurements I am giving you will let you have a small bit of the card stock show around the whole paper on the front.  This way you will get more out of your 12 x 12 sheet of designer series paper.

5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Hello Honey cs--score at 4 1/4 & fold in half.

4 x 5 1/4 Botanical Gardens DSP.  Lay it on the 2 5/8" mark & cut down to 1 3/4".   Then you just fold back the corners.  Use a glue dot to hold them down.  See the picture below for help in cutting.

Tape the DSP to the card front.

Card stock for the flowers-Hello Honey, Mint Macaron, & Cajun Craze.  Botanical Builder Framelits cut the flowers.  Lay the flowers down to make sure where you want to place them.  Use a glue dot to mount them on the card front.  

The birthday greeting is from the Sky is the Limit stamp set.  Stamp the greeting with Cajun Craze ink on white cs.  Punch it out with the large oval.  Punch a scallop oval out of Cajun Craze cs.  Glue them together.  Mount the greeting with dimensionals.

Stamp your saying inside & you are done!

SHUTTER CARD DIRECTIONS

Below is the card folded.

5 1/2 x 12" Pacific Point cs---Score at 2, 4, 8, & 10"

Next you will make 2 cuts.  Lay the card stock at the 1 1/2" mark & cut from the first to the last score line (2" to 10").  Do this on both sides.  See the pictures below.

In the picture below you see how to fold the card.

I used a mix of card stock & designer paper.  You can use which ever you want.  It just depends how you want to decorate the card.

Center -- 2 x 3 3/4"  (this is where I put the greeting)

2 pieces) 1 3/4 x 5 1/4" (these are both ends)

4 pieces) 1 1/4 x 1 3/4"

2 pieces) 2 1/4 x 1 3/4"

2 pieces 1 1/4 x 3 3/4"

After you get everything cut lay it on the card.

I used --

Botanical Builder Framelits-wild wasabi cs

Papillon Potpourri stamp & matching punch

Petite Petals stamp & matching punch

card stock & inks-Pacific Point, So Saffron, Melon Mambo

Greeting is from Butterfly Basics

Remember to lay everything on the card to make sure you like where it is placed before you glue it on.

Of course I used the Wink Of Stella Pens Gold & Clear to highlight the butterflies & flowers!

Below is a picture of the cards that we made in class.  These cards were made with 8 1/5 x 11" card stock.

5 x 10 1/2" card stock--score at 1 3/4, 3 1/2, 7, & 8 3/4"

cut lines are 1 1/2 on each side from first score line to last score line.

1)center 3 1/4 x 1 3/4"

2) ends 1 1/2 x 4 3/4"

2) 3 1/4 x 1/14"

4) 1 1/2 x 1/14"

2) 1 1/2 x 1 3/4"

Metallics Glitter Tape by Stampin’ Up!

Here is another card that we made in class last month.

5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Pink Pirouette card stock--score & fold in half.
5 1/4 x 4" Melon Mambo cs
5 x 3 3/4" white cs

The hearts were punched with any and all the different heart punches I have collected over the years.

If you look closely you will see that I used the Work of Art stamp set & Pink Pirouette ink for a background. I used the stamp that looks kind of like a paint brush stroke.  Just stamp it 2 or 3 times to make a base line to put the hearts.  The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
